Building Addressable TV at ProSiebenSat.1
From developer to Head of Addressable TV Engineering, I helped build a new advertising business on HbbTV from the ground up. The work combined product engineering, architecture, delivery, and a patent for dynamically replacing linear TV spots on the big screen in the house.
Enterprise Delivery at IBM
At IBM I worked in Enterprise Java, delivering software for banking, media, and large publishing platforms. Projects ranged from Allianz Bank and ORF's ADMIRA media asset management to the relaunch of prosieben.de and kabeleins.de, while I advanced on the IT architect career path.
Scaling Entity38 AG
I co-founded Entity38 AG with three partners in 1998 and grew it into an agency with 22 employees by 2001. As CTO I shaped delivery, engineering, and customer work for clients such as Microsoft Germany, Gruner + Jahr, MTU Aero Engines, and several major publishing houses.

AI Product Engineering for Constanze Care
Constanze Care is a mobile companion for pregnant women and new mothers, and my role spans product engineering across the stack. That includes React Native app development, in-app purchases with RevenueCat, analytics in Jupyter notebooks, and LLM-assisted workflows for faster iteration.
Award-Winning Work on CURE-Bench
CURE-Bench evaluates how well AI models reason about drug safety, treatment planning, and therapeutic decisions. Under a tight deadline I benchmarked medical and general-purpose models, improved results through context engineering, and later received Excellence Awards for Open Science and Prediction Consistency.
Machine Learning Since 2014
My formal machine learning track started with Andrew Ng's 2014 course and continued with fast.ai's deep learning program. In 2017 I entered my first Kaggle competition on invasive species image classification, beginning a long arc from ML fundamentals to practical benchmarking and modern AI systems.

Galileo and the Cinematic Metaverse
For ProSiebenSat.1's Galileo I built a virtual TV studio in VRChat with Blender and Unity3D and explored how social VR can become usable broadcast material. The experiments combined avatars, community events, virtual performances, and creator interviews to test a new visual language for entertainment formats.
European Creators Lab
The European Creators Lab brought together artists, makers, and immersive storytellers to prototype what spatial media can become. My participation focused on exchanging ideas with top XR creators, testing narrative formats, and translating experimental VR thinking into production-ready concepts.
RetroScopeVR: Munich in 1858
RetroScopeVR is an ongoing project to make historical Munich explorable in VR. Together with Christian Waechter I am working on a guided journey through the city as it looked in the 19th century, combining archival research, spatial storytelling, and immersive interaction.
